We hope you are satisfied with your order. If unfortunately you are not, you can always return it to us under the following conditions:

A return request can be submitted within 14 days of receiving your order. You can submit your request through our returns portal. Alternatively, you can email info@oldschoolvoetbalshirts.nl. If your return request is accepted, you have 14 days to return your order according to the return instructions provided. We cannot accept products returned without a return request.

If you exercise your right of withdrawal, the product must be returned to Oldschool Voetbalshirts with all accessories supplied and, if reasonably possible, in its original condition, unworn and unused, with its labels and packaging. We cannot accept items that are not returned in their original condition, or we may charge a fee to compensate for the decrease in value. Carefully package the items being returned. We are not responsible for damage that occurs during shipping of the returned items.

If the returned order is received in good condition, the full order amount, including shipping costs, will be refunded. For orders containing multiple items, if not all items are returned, you will receive a refund for the purchase price of the returned items, excluding shipping costs. You are responsible for the cost of returning items from your home to Oldschool Voetbalshirts. For exact rates, please check your carrier’s website.

Once we have received your return in good condition, you will be refunded the full purchase amount (including any shipping costs paid) using the same payment method you used. This refers to the shipping costs paid when placing the order. You are responsible for the return shipping costs.

For orders where not all items are returned, you will be refunded the purchase price of the relevant item(s), excluding shipping costs.

It may take up to 5 business days for the refund for your return to be processed. You will receive an email once the refund has been processed.

After receiving your order, you have 14 days to register it for a return. You can do this via our returns portal or by email at info@oldschoolvoetbalshirts.nl.

Once your return request has been approved, you have another 14 days to send the order back.

General advice

Most shirts have a care label with washing instructions on the inside, but the instructions on older shirts may be outdated.

Ask yourself whether a full wash is really necessary. For small stains, a soft sponge with a little mild soap or detergent is often enough.

Machine washing

Still want to put your shirt in the washing machine? Follow these tips:

• Wash the shirt inside out
• Wash cold (max. 30°C)
• Use the delicate or hand-wash cycle
• Do not spin
• Do not use fabric softener as it damages prints and badges and affects the shirt’s breathability.
• Wash with similar colors

Hand washing (recommended for older or delicate shirts)

1. Test a small patch of fabric: Apply a little water and mild soap to an inconspicuous spot. If the color doesn’t fade, you can continue.
2. Fill a basin with cold or lukewarm water (never hot).
3. Add a mild detergent and mix it well.
4. Turn the shirt inside out and place it in the water. Gently press it under.
5. Let it soak and gently move it back and forth.
6. Rinse the shirt thoroughly with clean, cold water until all the soap is gone.
7. Never wring it out. Gently squeeze out the water and place the shirt between two towels to absorb most of the moisture.
8. Lay flat to dry, preferably on a drying rack. Avoid the tumble dryer, heaters, or direct sunlight.

We cannot be held liable for damage to shirts if these guidelines are not followed. If in doubt, always contact us; we’ll be happy to help.

After the name and description of each football shirt is a number, for example - 9/10 -. This rating gives an indication of the shirt's condition. We only assess the outside of the shirt. Below, you can read what each rating means:

New - The new rating means that the shirt is new, with its tags still attached. It has never been worn and is exactly the same as what you'd find in physical stores.

10/10 - This means the shirt is as good as new and in perfect condition. The only difference from the 'new' rating is that these football shirts no longer have their tags. The shirt has no damage or defects.

9/10 - This rating means the shirt is in near-perfect condition, with at most minimal damage. This could be a bobble on the shirt or very minor damage to the fabric. You probably won't notice the damage unless you're looking for it.

8/10 - A shirt with this rating may have one area of damage. This could be a small stain or minor damage to the sponsor logo or print. We therefore specify exactly what the damage is for football shirts with this rating, and sometimes add an extra photo of it.

7/10 - There are several areas of damage, or one more significant area of damage. More significant damage could include a small hole in the shirt or a larger stain. There may also be several small areas of damage, such as damage to the print or a loose seam. We always list the damage under 'remarks'.

6/10 - This is our lowest rating. There are several visible areas of damage, such as stains or multiple areas of damage to the fabric or print. Shirts with this rating are therefore the cheapest. We always list the damage on the product page under 'remarks'.

We don't sell football shirts rated below 6/10, because we believe we can't sell a football shirt that we rate as unsatisfactory.

When assigning a rating, we take a shirt's condition and age into account. We are more lenient about damage on older shirts than on more recently released shirts.

We describe any damage to the shirts as thoroughly as possible. We also try to show as many photos as possible of any damage, but always check the description. We only assess the outside of the shirt.

There are different types of football shirts: Fan Version, Authentic and Player/Match Issue. Below, we explain the differences.

Fan Shirts

Fan shirts, also known as replica, stadium or standard, are the most common shirts you'll find in stores. These shirts are specially designed for supporters and are the basic version of the design. They often have a comfortable, slightly looser fit and are made of durable material suitable for everyday use.

Pro Shirts

Pro shirts (also known as Authentic) are very similar to the shirts players wear during matches. They have almost the same specifications. These shirts are lighter and more breathable. In the past, these shirts were only available to professional clubs, but nowadays brands like Nike, Adidas and Puma also release them commercially, often under the name Authentic.

Typical features of a Pro shirt:

• Tighter, athletic fit
• Lighter and breathable material
• Heat-pressed logos (plastic/transfers) instead of embroidered badges
• Smaller numbers or sponsor prints on the back

Player Issue

Player Issue shirts are issued to players/clubs to wear during a match. These shirts go one step beyond Authentic shirts. Player Issue shirts aren't sold in stores and aren't commercially available.

If the title doesn't say Authentic or Player Issue, it's the standard fan version of the shirt.
